Mmmf.

Amazing illustrations!

(Reblogged from richardmac)

Just been asked to paint this miniature figure for a friend. Should be quite interesting as its the first time I’ve been commissioned by someone to design/produce something!

These are just some quick photos of a recent structural model I made for the design of an active weather monitoring and education centre. Made using bamboo skewers and 3mm grey card. (The skewers represent the primary beam and column system, and the card represents the submerged retaining wall)

I haven’t been as productive as I would have liked recently, which is a wee bit annoying! However, here is a quick picture of a drawing that I done just for fun. It was drawn on ordinary cartridge paper using a mechanical pencil with a mixture of 2H and HB leads. Its actually taken from another image that I found in an old magazine, so the actual idea is not my own, but I liked it so much that I thought I would have a go at reproducing it myself, just for fun!

Olympic Inspiration

Been totally glued to the TV for the last 17 days watching the London Olympics, and it was amazing! Really thought it was a fantastic spectacle, and made me proud to be British! It has definitely given me a boost to go and make cool things and draw cool stuff :D

LONDON 2012!!!

A 1:20 scale technical oblique drawing of my proposed housing project, showing primary structure, wall and floor build-up. I think it was scanned at a low DPI but if you click the image it gets a lot clearer!

Some structural details from my housing design project. Got A big 1:20 structural oblique drawing that im going to post up soon as well. The drawings were done using a mechanical graphite pencil straight onto cartridge paper. They were then scanned and are now ready to be photoshopped.
